Waiting for a special day or letter or phone call is not my favorite thing! We run to the mail box, or maybe constantly check our phone for the latest email, text or possibly a missed phone call. We get so wrapped up in the waiting, we sometimes miss the time that is lost in the middle of the wait!
So, what’s a ‘Sweet Life” girl to do? Well, of course we ‘Live to Bless”!
TODAY! Let’s spread the love of Jesus and live to bless others all along the way!
“This is the day that the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it!” Psalm 118:24
What is it that brings fear to your life? Is it declining health, a broken relationship you need to mend? Is it an emotional need that you can’t even explain? Is it a mental battle that continues to put you in bondage?
Those in Christ are given everything we need for a Christ-glorifying life. So that we might have a life full of purpose, hope, and yes… COURAGE!
Today, ask God to strengthen you and fill you with courage. Let’s reach out to those in our path and share God’s Word of courage, and of faith in Christ alone.
“Share each others burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ.”
“… Stir up one another to love and good works. Hebrews 10:24
Debra and I were so blessed to have the privilege of sharing the ‘Sweet Life’ with the precious ladies at the Southern Baptist Convention Women’s Expo!
What a wonderful experience as we listened, loved on, and encouraged one another to keep on serving as God leads. Debra and I encouraged the ladies to rekindle the ‘JOY’ of sharing Jesus Christ with others in their church and in the community.
Debra and I ask that you pray the contacts made will be a reminder that God sees and knows all we walk thru and He is right there walking with us, leading us and guiding us as we follow Him. What a joy and privilege to serve.

Hope in Jesus Christ lets us live faithfully in the future tense,
confident the past is forgiven, and our present is providential…
the best is yet to come!
Learning lessons of HOPE by making cookies is a fun and exciting way to trust God’s promise of eternal life to believers. The peace He gives overrides the bitter… even to the last bite of life.
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy spirit.” Romans 15:13
Special thanks to my two granddaughters and their friends for helping with this FUN video!

Women’s Expo Southern Baptist Convention June 13-14
Debra and I are so excited to share with you that we
have been invited to share our ministry of
“Stir Up Some Sweet Life”
at this year’s Women’s Expo for the
Southern Baptist Convention in St Louis, MO.
We will be sharing ‘Stir Up Some Sweet Life” book
and the opportunities for ministry
with the ladies that drop by our booth at the expo.
A Fantastic time with the Minister’s Wives of Florida!
What an awesome opportunity to participate in the annual luncheon for Minister’s wives in Panama City, FL. We met so many precious ladies who give so willingly to the Lord. What a blessing Debra and I had to join in the fun!
Stir Up Some Sweet Life
was privileged to donate a beautiful basket filled with, of course a copy of our book, Stir Up Some Sweet Life … a sparkle ‘Sweet Life’ apron, cookie book and yes, lots and lots of Sugar cookies, Gingerbread cookies, Chocolate Cookies and Cake Pops!
It was our sheer bliss to see this beautiful young woman win the basket!
I did warn her the chocolate cookies had Starbucks coffee in them!
I love driving around the neighborhood… just to see different doors! When the seasons come and go, sometimes the doors change… they give a little lift! The doors seem to express a little glimpse into the gal that lives there!
Today, I’m not thinking about the doors that let you into someones home. The doors that God, himself opens and closes are the doors I’m thinking of today. Our heart is the first door that opens so we can receive Him as our personal Savior. But, all along this wonderful journey, we grow and need His direction. We seek the doors to open … and close … as He chooses.
Today, Debra and I are asking God to continue to open the doors He has for us to minister. Our desire is to be used by Him where He leads.
Please pray with us as we seek His will.
My devotional has a great verse for these thoughts.
A man’s heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps. Proverbs 16:9 NKJV
